Ally Dunphy Art Therapy Guelph
Ally Dunphy is an Art Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Art Therapy Guelph. She works with children and teens.

Hello there! My name is Ally Dunphy. I am an art therapy associate and a registered psychotherapist (qualifying).

I am passionate about supporting children and teens with their mental health and wellness, through artistic expression and creativity. I know firsthand about children's struggles because when I was young, I had a lot to unpack. My parents got divorced and it was a difficult adjustment. I  was too small to understand all of the big emotions surrounding these changes that were not in my control. Throughout childhood, I struggled with high anxiety and I found great solace in artmaking.

I became interested in art therapy because it is a combination of my two favourite things, creating art and helping kids. I love helping children and teens unpack their stressful life events, big emotions and feelings. I believe that every child is unique, which is why I focus on collaborating with clients to find the most effective techniques to suit their unique needs.

I am a student at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute and completed my coursework in April 2021. I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO) as an RP (Qualifying).
I offer one on one, in-person sessions at Art Therapy Guelph for children and teens. My fee for a 50-minute session is $90.00. If you would like more information please contact me below:
